Perched right on the edge of the Puget Sound and at the bottom of a 160 bluff, building a deck on this house was no small feat. Because of shoreline act codes and switchback footpath access the deck had to be erected from a crane barge at high tide. The steel supports are supported by two existing fortuitously placed concrete buttresses just above grade. Built in 2010. Photos: Graham Syed
